La série des images Il Battito del Tempo (Le Battement du Temps), fait partie d’un projet de recherche de l’artiste sur la relation entre les arts visuels et la science. La nécessité de travailler le mouvement de manière expérimentale, libérant les images de leur inertie, a conduit l'artiste à s’intéresser aux études d’Étienne-Jules Marey et à entreprendre une collaboration intéressante avec la Station zoologique Anton Dohrn, qui possède une importante documentation sur Marey. De cette rencontre est née l'idée de représenter, dans une série photographique, la magie et le mouvement de la nature.

The series of images Il Battito del Tempo (The Beat of Time), is part of a research project by the artist on the relationship between visual arts and science. The need to work the movement in an experimental way, releasing the images of their inertia, led the artist to take an interest in the studies of Étienne-Jules Marey to undertake an interesting collaboration with the Zoological Station Anton Dohrn, which has an important documentation on Marey. From this meeting came the idea of representing, in a photographic series, the magic and the movement of nature.
